Born in Chandigarh completed his graduation B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) at Panjab University Chandigarh and subsequently earned Master of Law and now possesses Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR) from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) in Bangalore, Karnataka.
He began his legal practice as an Advocate in 2015, representing clients before the High Court of Punjab and Haryana and is presently serving as the Senior Standing Counsel for the Income Tax Department, Senior Additional Standing Counsel for the Chandigarh Administration and Retainer/Senior Panel Counsel for various Boards and Corporations under the Government of Punjab and Haryana.
In 2024, he was appointed as the Assistant Advocate General for  State of Punjab.
His practice encompasses matters related to Constitutional, Criminal, Taxation, Arbitration, Service and Commercial laws and is frequently appearing before the Supreme Court of India, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Himachal Pradesh High Court and the High Court of Delhi in addition to representing clients at Statutory Tribunals and Commissions located in Chandigarh and New Delhi.

Since 2025, she has been representing the State of Punjab in her role as Assistant Advocate General Punjab, in addition to serving as Retainer/Senior Panel Counsel for various Board(s)/Corporation(s) under the Government of Punjab.

Her practice encompasses matters related to Constitutional, Criminal and Taxation laws appearing before the Punjab and Haryana High Court in addition to representing clients at Statutory Tribunals and Commissions located in Chandigarh.
